The Campus Equity Research and Scholarship Hub is a cohort model for Black, Indigenous, and Women of Color faculty (BIWOC). The Equity Scholarship hub was developed and launched in Fall 2021 as a university-wide effort to support BIWOC authored research and creative activities that further the diversity of knowledge.

Supporting research and creative activities that center equity by foregrounding historically marginalized perspectives, as well as supporting BIWOC faculty, whose professional and life experiences deepen the diversity of lenses through which we can understand and engage our social world are thus crucial agendas for a forward-looking university.

Transforms is providing administrative and evaluation support for the Campus Equity Hub. This is an important new effort at SF State, and we are proud to be part of it. The 2021 Campus Equity Research Hub was sponsored by ORSP and Faculty Affairs with funding from Higher Education Emergency Relief Funds (HEERF).

Institutionalizing the Campus Equity Scholarship Hub

We are pleased to announce that the Campus Equity Scholarship hub is part of our efforts to institutionalize mechanisms that support and promote faculty women. We are working with ORSP and Faculty Affairs to institutionalize this program into the Office of Faculty Affairs!
