SF State TRANSFORMS hosts events throughout the grant period to facilitate our programs and activities to advance equity and support, faculty scholars. We cultivate community with events designed to build solidarity and engage in conversation and support. Some of our events are delivered in partnership with units across campus as we build collaborative mechanisms to cultivate faculty equity. Please join us!

Transforms Spring '23 Event, Spring Faculty and Staff Luncheon - March 2

Come join us for faculty networking, conversation, and to learn about recent efforts on campus to enhance faculty advancement through equity-minded programs and activities. Reports will be shared from LCA, CoSE, and others as well as a presentation on the launch of the PERC program.

Connect and Celebrate Welcome Back Open House Event

Tuesday, September 6, 2022, 1-2 pm. Please join the Fall 2022 opening event of SF State Transforms: Connect and Celebrate. We have all lost opportunities to connect and share. Come learn about the many touch points for structural change and connection, Meet Faculty Hub Fellow Alums and learn about becoming a Hub fellow. Meet the PERC Fellows and learn about the year to come for restorative justice practices. The vent will be held in-Person, Library, 2nd Floor Faculty Commons. Building Bridges Reception: A Scholar-Teaching Series: Building Collaborations to Integrate & Strengthen Projects-Writing-Teaching.

Join CEETL, SF State Transforms, and the STS Hub, for a celebration of co-writing and partnership in teaching and research. We will celebrate Juliette Hua and Kasturi Ray's new book Spent Behind the Wheel: Driver's Labor in the Uber Economy (University of Minnesota Press, 2021. The event will focus on collaborative scholarship to recognize and amplify the ways faculty scholarship and teaching are interconnected.

The 2022 ADVANCE STEM Scholarship Hub of Faculty Fellows application portal has now closed. Applications for the next cohort of Transforms Faculty Scholars will be available in early September 2023.
